Adam Milstein spent his early years in Haifa, Israel. During this time, he served for the Israeli Defense Forces; after serving in the Israeli Army Adam decided to pursue his education by enrolling in the Technion, Israeli Institute of Technology where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in business (Cum Laude). While in school, Adam worked with his father in real estate construction. After graduation he married, Gila Elgrably.
After a few years of marriage, the Milstein family which included two daughters moved to the U.S.; the 3rd daughter of the Milstein family was born in America. In America, Adam Milstein received his MBA and worked as a real estate sales agent. He is perhaps most known for his philanthropic interests and advocacy.
His philanthropic involvements include: Israeli-American Council(co-founder), StandWithUs, Israel on Campus Coalition, Hasbara Fellowships, Jewish Funders Network, Birthright Israel, Stand By Me, and American Israel Public Affairs Committee, Sifriyat Pijama B’America(co-founded with his wife) which provides free books to help promote knowledge about Jewish values. Adam Milstein is also well- known for Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation which he co-founded with Gila, his wife and learn more about Adam.
Gila and Adam founded the Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation in 2000. They formed the organization with intent to strengthen the State of Israel and its connection to the United States as well as a way of promotion for Jewish identity. 3 principles are followed in the Milstein Foundation.
